The School Health Awareness Program held at Chakarken School highlighted crucial health topics, including scrub typhus and antenatal mother care. This event was organized by the PKACN team, which brought attention to these pressing health issues, aiming to educate students, parents, and staff on preventive health practices.

Over 150 parents, school children, and staff participated, along with 81 students directly involved. The event was graced by the school’s headmaster and representatives from PKACN, including Aseem Kumar Sahu, Sudepta Deep, and Ajit Saha, who provided valuable insights on scrub typhus—a disease recently gaining attention—and the importance of antenatal care for expectant mothers. Through engaging discussions and informative sessions, the PKACN team empowered attendees to recognize symptoms, adopt preventive measures, and prioritize maternal health, ultimately fostering a healthier community mindset.
