Scholarship Program

CHANCHALA ACHARYA NURSING EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP (applicable to all the students of final year across all courses) & CHANCHALA ACHARYA NURSING EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP (Only for those students who are not eligible for other government scholarships)

Objectives

Is it to support underprivileged students and reward academic excellence Details: Two scholarships to be given, one IS APPLICABLE TO all the students of the college and second one is for the General / OBC category students who are not eligible for any other government scholarship program. In case there are less than 40% students in general category (who is not eligible for other scholarship) all the students of that batch will be eligible for the scholarship that year. The final year student scholarship program “CHANCHALA ACHARYA NURSING EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP” is applicable to all the students, but the mid years scholarship program“CHANCHALA ACHARYA NURSING EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP”  is applicable to only those students who are not eligible for any other government scholarship program.

Scholarship Eligibility

All the students of the college are eligible to apply for the scholarship, who are having at least 90% academic attendance.

Academic Achievement
The top performing student (highest mark in the batch) but the minimum marks secured should be at least 90% of the total marks.
Field of Study
Student from all the courses ANM, GNM and BSC Nursing
Financial Need
Applicable to students whose family income is less than Rs.500000 per annum.
Community Involvement
The eligibility criteria for “CHANCHALA ACHARYA NURSING EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP” will also include the student’s demonstration of involvement in community service, extracurricular activities and other volunteer work.

Scholarships Funding

BSC students will get on 2nd year , 3rd year and 4th year ( on the basis of their result of 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year exam)

GNM will get on 2nd year and 3rd year (on the basis of their result of 1st year and 2nd year exam)

ANM will get on 2ndyear (on the basis of their result of 1st year exam)

The best student in all individual stream at the final year (based on the performance of whole years at the institute will get Rs. 50000 as scholarship.

Every year there will be one addition achiever from all the courses- the top performer of the institute that will be given to the final year students.

Award Amount and Frequency:

This scholarship program is recurring and will be in force every year for all three courses. (ANM, GNM and BSC )

Disbursement and Administration:

The scholarship amount will be disbursed in a student felicitation program annually.
